A working Forest!

Always remember Dyfnant Forest is a WORKING forest.

There may be on occasion tractors & agricultural machinery moving in and over the Trails.

Always stop and let vehicles pass you.

Live stock

There are numerous farms surrounding and bordering onto the Rainbow Trails.

Please ensure dogs are kept on a lead if you see farm animals in the fields.

Navigation

Always take a map and a compass with you.

Before setting out remember to download the map on this website.

Tell someone where you are going and what time you expect to be back!!

Lambing season

Be respectful and keep you dog under control during the lambing season.

Sadly if you don’t and a farmer thinks his sheep are being threatened he is well within his rights to shoot your dog.

And it will be YOUR fault!

Take your litter home!

There are no litter bins over  The Rainbow Trails.

PLEASE take all your litter home!!

Anti Social behaviour

Thankfully, anti-social behaviour is very rare over the Rainbow Trails.

But if you DO see such behaviour – such as motorbikes or campers – please DO REPORT IT!!!
