Rainbow Trails versus Covid-19

The Rainbow Tails facilities have been re-opened by NRW/CNC. Car parks, trails etc are now open to use.

However, since we have been unable to check the tracks for hazards over the last 3 months, you need to be aware of potential risks and please report them – eg fallen trees, leaning trees, track damage etc. They can be reported to admin@rainbowtrails.org.uk.

Unfortunately, due to on-going Covid-19 risks and advice our events are still on hold for a while.

Two reasons: first is the risk to participants and volunteers (it may be minimal but both volunteers and committee members come from a very wide area and we could spread this thing like butter on warm toast); and second, although unlikely, if we were to have any incident or accident at an event we would simply be an additional (and unnecessary) drain on the emergency services and NHS.

We will keep you updated on events on the what’s on page and Facebook, in the meantime this is the current situation. Please check the what’s on page for more information.

Carriage Drives are pending further advice, as separation is greater and numbers smaller – watch this space.
