CHANGES AND UPDATES

The Rainbow Trails Association will be running a limited number of its own events this year, aimed at helping people to get to know the trails and feel confident in accessing them. They include “how to not mind getting lost in the trails” (no fixed dates, contact us to arrange minimum group of 2), cycling groups dates to be confirmed – if you are interested in getting to know the trails by bicycle, get in touch.

The Trails are open to book for your own horse riding, mantrailing, cycling and walking events on a number of dates already organised. If you are interested in holding an event, please just drop us a line. Scroll down for list of available dates reserved and events.

HOW NOT TO GET LOST IN THE TRAILS ….

…. or how not to mind getting lost in the trails!

Dates to be confirmed or if two interested people want to book a date, get in touch via admin@rainbowtrails.org.uk and we will try and arrange to suit you.

Penffordd Car Park  10.30am – setting off at 11am.

Are you worried about getting lost in the trails? Ever wanted to explore further but worried about getting back to the car park?

Led by Beck who will take you into the trails and show you how to read the number posts and arrows, how to read the trails and work out where you are and how to ride them safely feeling confident about finding your way round and back. Get confident enough to show your friends the trails!

Limited to a maximum of 3 participants 

These are Free!  We would very much appreciate any donation you can make to help keep the trails open, the website running and the facilities in good order.

CYCLE RIDES – GUIDED BY BARRY!

Come and explore the tracks and area without traffic and with an experienced guide.

Great for the family and free for all, but please consider making a donation to the Rainbow Trails Association as a member to help keep this great area going – see donation page for details of how to help.

DATES FOR EVENTS AND DATES OF EVENTS:

Bi-Monthly – How to Not Get Lost in the Trails: will be arranged subject to weather, no clashes with other events. Max participants 4 including leader. Get in touch to arrange a date.

Good Friday – Sadly the Association won’t be hosting the event this year. If you want to hold your own Hot Cross Bun Ride in the trails? Get in touch! The date is available!

13 April 2024 – Dolgellau Pony Club will be in the trails starting from Penyffordd Car Park

25/26 May 2024 – Carriage Driving Weekend – available for driving clubs to book!

22/23 June 2024 – Want to hold your own Midsummer Night’s Ride? Get in touch.

14 July 2024 – Carriage Drive 

7 September 2024 – Picnic Ride to be confirmed. Bring your own picnic and ride to Lake Vyrnwy and back

1 December 2024 – Mulled Wine & Mince Pie Ride? To be confirmed.
